Project overview
As the city of Gouda continues to strive towards a more accessible, green, and nature-friendly environment, the Gemeente Gouda has partnered with Schuttelaar & Partners to develop an identity and website that embodies the vision of a better accessible city.

The website serves as an overview of all projects that the city is planning to make the city more accessible for cyclists, pedestrians, and public transport. The challenge is that Gouda is currently dealing with too many cars in the city center. The 'Gouda Goed op weg' concept addresses this issue by promoting a more sustainable and green city that is easier to reach by bike, public transport, and car.

My role in this project was to design an attractive identity and webdesign that reflects the concept of 'Gouda Goed op weg'.

The design
Keywords for the overall aesthetic are kindness, flowy, air and transition. I added a wave-like design element that moves across the screen, reflecting the theme of the city's transition towards a better future. The illustrations I created include bikers, pedestrians, electric cars and chargers, public transport, and various greenery, such as trees and bushes.

Through my visual design, the website provides a user-friendly experience that highlights the city's commitment to sustainability and accessibility. By showcasing the planned projects, users can get a better understanding of the city's goals and progress towards a more eco-friendly and livable environment.
Campaign 'Fluitend naar je werk'
The goal of this campaign is to encourage people to shift from car commutes to an effortless and joyful journey on their bike. In close cooperation with my colleague we came up with the campaign's tagline, "Whistling to Work".

At the heart of the "Whistling to Work" campaign lies a simple yet powerful concept: enabling people to start their day on a positive note by choosing alternative modes of transportation such as biking. The idea of whistling symbolizes a light-hearted and contented mood.

The campaign's visual identity is vibrant and inviting, reflecting the carefree spirit of the 'Gouda Goed op weg' initiative. A palette of cheerful colors, ranging from sunny yellow to bright red, conveys a sense of optimism and action.
